Christmas Opening hours.

Monday 23rd December - OPEN*
Tuesday 24th December - OPEN*
Wednesday 25th December - CLOSED
Thursday 26th December - CLOSED
Friday 27th December - OPEN*

*Victoria Way and Park View surgeries will be closed during the afternoon of 23rd and for full days of the 24th and 27th December. Lavender Grove will close on 24th December afternoon. Any patients usually based at these sites can use nearby surgeries or call 01904 404100 8am to 6pm as usual.

*Lavender Grove and Park View surgeries will close during the afternoons of 30th December and 31st December. Victoria Way will be closed all day on Monday 30th. Lavender Grove will close during the afternoon on Thursday 2nd January. Lavender Grove and Park View surgeries will both be closed on Friday 3rd Jan.

We ask that patients who need repeat prescriptions to be processed and prepared before Christmas, request these ASAP.

A reminder that our usual opening hours are 8am to 6pm. Our surgery sites close 12.15-12.45pm but phone lines remain open during this time.

Chicken pox is currently “doing the rounds” locally. It’s a useful time to share some self care tips about how to manage the symptoms at home as most children with chicken pox don’t need to see a GP. ⏺️ encourage your child to drink plenty of fluids - try ice lollies if your child is not drinking ⏺️ give paracetamol to help with any pain and discomfort - avoid ibuprofen ⏺️ use cooling creams or gels from a pharmacy ⏺️ speak to a pharmacist about using antihistamine medicine to help itching ⏺️ bathe in cool water and pat the skin dry (do not rub) If your child has chickenpox, they will need to stay off school/nursery until all the spots have formed a scab. From Monday 2nd June our surgeries will close for a 45 minute period over lunchtime (changing from a 30 minute closure). This allows for our staff to take necessary breaks and to support the teams to attend important meetings. We will be closed 12:15 - 1pm. Please avoid attending the surgery to collect blood forms, prescriptions and drop in samples during this 45 minute period. The phone lines are available all day 8am to 6pm and the prioryCARE form is always available while the surgeries are closed for the lunch break. A reminder that we will be closed Monday 26th May for the bank holiday. Ahead of the long weekend the prioryCARE form turn off at 2pm on Friday 23rd May.
