New Surgery Opening Hours

What are the changes?

Following a discussion with front of house teams, we have opted to extend our lunchtime closure to 45 minutes. From the 2nd of June 2025, all surgeries will close from 12:15 to 13:00. We hope this supports the site based teams to have a protected lunch break and team huddles/meetings.

Have patient's been informed?

Patients are being made aware via our website, social media and posters in the waiting rooms. Please be mindful of this when inviting patients down for a f2f or to drop in samples or collect forms/pots etc. We have added a note on the AccuRx templates re blood forms to highlight this as well.

Other Notable Closures

Of note for PMC patients, Priory Pharmacy also closes for their lunchbreak 1-2pm so if a patient needs to collect an urgent script from their nominated pharmacy following a consultation, be aware of this closure.

Please also be aware that there are occasional site closures during busy holiday periods (to help consolidate the clinical teams and avoid staff feeling isolated). If you are asking a patient to drop in for a form or sample, please check if the site is open or signpost the patient to a nearby larger site. Site closures are visible on the rota and Systm1. We try to keep our patients in the loop on our website (Priory Medical - Bank Holidays).
