Staff Compliments
Dr. Vickash Jankes is very kind and attentive. He listened to my problem, examined me, and supported me when I needed it. He wrote a prescription and referred me for tests. He was very kind and understanding. Oh, and the receptionist also helped me get an appointment, for which I am very grateful.
I have always been incredibly happy with the service and care myself, and my children have received. I wanted to take a moment to say thank you - to all the clinical staff and reception staff. I appreciate you all have challenging jobs but it’s really appreciated.
I've had a few interactions over the last 2 years for various things and it's always been convenient and quick. I found the staff to be professional and caring. Thank you!
Sadly I have been feeling very unwell for a few days so completed and submitted an online form by 8.20 am, received a phone call from a lovely lady by 9.20 am with an appointment at 10.20 am. I now have antibiotics and hopefully will be on the mend very soon. Huge thanks.
I was surprised to have a call on a Saturday from the doctor but it was a real pleasure, we talked through my symptoms and he was really good at explaining the potential treatment. I felt like he’d gone above and beyond.
Very good staff always helpful
Since my cardiac arrest the doctors at priory medical have been really good and caring, I have never had a problem getting an appointment and have always had good advice.
My query was picked up really quickly and I was contacted by a lovely doctor (Dr Knight) and seen the same day. He was calm, clear and kind. An overall really great service. Thank you
Although it is a bit late due to family bereavement, I now have time to write this note of thanks. Over recent months I have had several appointments for chest infections and joint problems. My online requests have been dealt with promptly, even being seen the same day on several occasions. Particular thanks to the pharmacy team and also to Dr Emma Rushforth who saw me in April and was considerate, professional, and promptly dealt with my health problems and followed me up ensuring I was OK. An excellent service. Also special thanks to Christian Ndubsuisi, Physiotherapist. He has seen me on several occasions over the past months. He is an extremely kind professional, taking great time and care to ensure I have had the best possible consultation, treatment, and aftercare. An exceptional gentleman who is a credit to the profession and to Priory Medical Group. I appreciate your team may not get thanks very often. So, a big thank you to the team, but especially the aforementioned. Ever grateful, KF.
I went to Heworth Green Surgery yesterday for a routine appointment with a nurse and the care and empathy she showed was overwhelming. She managed to have a GP see me who was equally as attentive and caring. Genuine, sincere professionals who made a difference. Thank you.

Brilliant staff
I have had to contact the Cornlands Road medical centre several times lately regarding my 92yr old mum. She lives on her own, I don't live in York, and she has asked me to phone the doctors for her because she hasn't felt well and she is also partially deaf so finds it difficult to communicate. The reception staff each time have been pleasant, helpful and understanding. I was 25th in the queue this morning so I know how busy they are. I have worked as a medical receptionist myself and know how stressful it can be. I just wanted to pass on some positive feedback.
Had an appointment yesterday with Dr Nixon. Who I would definitely recommend. Extremely knowledgeable, calming & friendly.
I filled out the Priory Care form this morning and within half an hour I received a call from Dr Altaf. He was very patient and understanding as I was explaining my symptoms. I saw him 45 minutes later for an in-person appointment, and again he was very understanding and carried out a thorough examination. I have been a patient at PMG for around 30 years and the level of care and compassion has always been outstanding.
