We have asked our Staff Engagement Group representatives what Staff Equality Networks they might be interested in getting (re)established across PMG?
A staff equality network is a voluntary, staff-led group that provides a safe space for employees to connect, share experiences, and support each other, particularly those with a shared protected characteristic or interest. These networks also work to advance an organisation's equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) goals by offering peer support, raising awareness, and influencing policy and practices to create a more inclusive workplace.
Examples of staff equality networks include:
Carers, menopause, men’s group, LGBTQ+, health-related – physical and mental health, neurodiversity, religious and faith-related, sports, social and interest groups.
