Abbie, Sophie and Caroline are producing a whole new series of posters for going on noticeboards at each surgery and for use online and social media as well. The laminator has never been so busy! Some of these have come out to sites already to start the process for refreshing the information we share with patients to support them. Much of this is required by CQC so please do take the time to review them with the site teams at huddles and make sure everyone understands them over the next few weeks.

A summary of the ACCESSIBILITY poster (which Abbie is about to turn into a series of posters) can be found on the Staff Portal, behind the Patient Access, Requests & Support tile. Please take just 10 minutes to review it and get in touch if any queries. This includes more details on new equality act, disability act and also accessible information standard requirements that we need to be clear we are meeting legally and as covered by CQC. This also covers much of the feedback from Healthwatch site visits too and our response to that report. Most importantly it includes the next push for ensuring we are meeting the requirements of the Reasonable Adjustments.
