Park View, Victoria Way and occasionally Lavender Grove surgery will close for an afternoon if staffing pressures or to avoid lone working. See our monthly News Post with more details of specific opening hours.

▶️ Announcement - due to unforeseen circumstances we are sadly going to close Rawcliffe Surgery for the day - Monday 15th December.

If you have an appointment at Rawcliffe tomorrow we will contact you to move this to another site (or reschedule if you are unable to travel).

Viral illnesses and flu on the rise

We are seeing increased numbers of patients getting in touch about cold/cough/flu symptoms. The majority of patients can manage their symptoms with self care at home - pain killers, decongestants, rest and plenty fluids. We do need to see a number of patients in surgery to examine their chest etc - if you are attending the surgery, we ask that you wear a face mask if you are able. We want to reduce the risk of passing on viruses to our vulnerable patients in the waiting room and our staff members.

Please also wash your hands and use hand gel regularly. The NHS website has lots of self care advice about flu and cough/cold symptoms. If you are eligible for the flu/covid/RSV vaccinations we recommend patients book in for these.

  • Flu - book with your local pharmacy or national booking service
  • Covid-19 - use the national booking service
  • RSV - eligible patients can book in at the practice. It's offered on the NHS if you're pregnant, aged 75 to 79, or turned 80 after 1 September 2024.
