Routine appointments

This month and over the summer, we expect the waiting time routine appointments to reach 7-8 weeks. The extended wait times are due to sickness and unplanned absence. It is important we offer enough urgent/on the day capacity while balancing the need to provide routine/ongoing care to patients with ongoing conditions. Please try not worry, if you have submitted a request we will be in direct contact and book appointments in time order.

Do you know about Bowel Cancer Screening? Bowel cancer screening is a test you do at home that checks for signs of bowel cancer. It's offered to everyone aged 50 to 74 every 2 years. The Harrogate Leeds and York Bowel Screening Programme have created this video to help patients understand why it is so important.
