All our surgeries offer urgent and routine Doctor and Nurse Appointments. We also provide clinics for Asthma, Diabetes and other diseases. Annual flu clinics are held at all our surgeries.

Repeat Prescriptions
If your treatment requires you to take regular medication, and your doctor has arranged for you to obtain prescriptions without seeing them you can request repeat prescriptions by phone, fax, post or in person. Click here for more information
Test Results
We will often give you the results of tests over the phone. If you are ringing for test results please do so after 3:30pm when most results have arrived and have been viewed by a doctor. Pregnancy Test results are not given over the phone.
Family Planning
All of our Doctors and Nurses are trained to give contraceptive advice and we offer a range of contraceptive options.

Antenatal Care
Antenatal clinics are run by the District Midwives. Most care is given at our surgeries although some examinations are carried out at the hospital.
Child and Adult Immunisations
Our Practice nurses offer all routine adult vaccinations including Diptheria, Tetanus,
and Polio

Child and Baby Clinics
Weekly clinics are run at all of our surgeries. Our Doctors and Health Visitors provide childhood immunisations and give parents the opportunity to monitor their child’s development.
Community Nursing Service

Minor Surgery
Many of our Doctors and Nurses are specifically trained and experienced to perform minor operations. We routinely perform procedures at our Heworth Green, Lavender Grove, and Rawcliffe Surgeries and Priory Medical Centre.
Travel Clinics
In conjunction with MASTA we offer weekday, evening and weekend travel clinics at our Lavender Grove Surgery. Our expert team can provide you with
all your travel vaccines, immunisations and expert medical advice on malaria, yellow fever and all other travel health related issues.

Annual Flu Clinics
Each year, usually in September and October we run dedicated Flu clinics at all our surgeries. Each clinic is held on a Saturday morning from 08:00 – 14:00. No appointments are required. Flu vaccinations are only provided by the NHS to those who meet specific department of Heath Criteria.

Health Visitors
Priory Medical Group has a named Health Visiting team who make contact with pregnant mums towards the end of their pregnancy. They arrange home visits approximately two weeks after the birth and offer ongoing support until the child is five years old.
